Doors for the track

Doors for the track

The doors for the track are designed for the tubular transport lines of pig, bovine or other half-carcases. There are several constructional solutions that allow the doors to be tightly closed. The doors for the track can be made as the industrial, chiller or freezer doors. All the doors for the track are designed individually, ideally fitted to the specific door niches.

Hinged, single leaf doors

The hinged single-leaf doors for the track are relatively rare. Due to the fact, that the width of the doors for the transport of half-carcasses should be around 135-155cm, it is recommended to use the double-leaf doors.

Nevertheless, it is possible to make the reinforced single-leaf doors for the track. This solution enables the leaves to be opened faster, thus, the full passage clearance is obtained quicker.

Hinged, double leaf doors

The hinged double-leaf doors for the track can be produced as the chiller or freezer doors. This solution is typically applied wherever it is impossible to use more practical sliding doors. The ergonomic lever-operated 3-point lock is used in the double-leaf doors for the track. The locking elements are hidden inside the doors, forming a smooth, easy-to-clean door coat.

Sliding, single leaf doors

The sliding doors for the track are produced individually for every door niche. Their design can vary depending on the installation place and customers’ preferences. We recommend three design solutions:

a) doors with the shared track

b) doors with the sliding rail above the track

c) sliding doors with the track-lift system

Track lift system

The solution with the track-lift system is the most convenient form of the operation of the doors, through which the track passes. When the doors are closed, the movable parts of the track lean on the slat of the door panel. When the door is opened, the track falls down, making the way for the hooks.

Sliding rail above the track

The sliding single-leaf doors with the sliding rail above the track are a comfortable solution, which allows the installation of the not shared comprehensive track, what ensures the durability and smooth operation of the doors.

A proper amount of the mounting space above the track and possible bearing rail is required in this case.

Shared sliding rail

The sliding single-leaf doors with the shared sliding rail are commonly used in the niches with the transport track for the half-carcasses. The sliding rail in these doors consists of two elements, between which there is a gap for the tubular track and the passage of the hooks with half-carcasses.

The disadvantage of the solution is the fact, that during the operation of the door one of the rolls is moved between the two parts of the system, which does not ensure as smooth operation of the door as in case of monolithic, not shared.

Nevertheless, it is more practical solution than the hinged double-leaf doors, where the door opening involves the operation of two door panels.

The sliding double-leaf doors for the track are equipped with a special recess surrounding the track. Depending on the situation, the recess can surrounds the pipe itself or the pipe together with the bearing structure.
